LEAGUE One Shrewsbury proved just too strong for battling National League outfit York City.
Forty-five places separate these two in the Pyramid, but the National League Minstermen did have their moments in an entertaining tie.
The Shrews took just 65 seconds to break through when Jordan Shipley tapped home from close range as he darted in to meet Tom Bayliss’s cross.
