A SOLITARY goal from Josh Walker ensured Maidenhead United would exit the FA Cup in the first round yet again with the Magpies finishing this contest against the Daggers on Saturday with ten men.
A replay looked to be on the cards until Will De Havilland’s dismissal gave the Daggers a new intensity and they scored a winning goal the 81st minute.
The defeat means the wait goes on for the Magpies faithful to see their club progress into the second round in the modern era, the last time being in the late 1880s.
