Beere leads by example

TOM BEERE scored the only goal of the game as Carshalton Athletic overcame Bowers & Pitsea at The Len Salmon Stadium. After a quiet opening 20 minutes, Ugonna Emenike had to be alert to divert the ball away from his own goal from Dexter Peter’s header.
Carshalton were dominating the ball but were struggling to create any clear cut chances.
