Wands’ good run keeps on going

CRAY WANDERERS made it five league games unbeaten and remained three points outside the play-off places after a hard fought victory against Isthmian North champions Aveley at a soggy Hayes Lane.
Chances were at a premium in a rather cagey first half with the Millers having the first shooting chance for Kelly Garrett who volleyed over the bar.
The match took a while to get going but there was a chance apiece just after the half hour with Aveley close when Garrett set up Blaise Riley-Snow who from inside the area saw his shot turned over the bar ...
