■ BLACKFIELD & LANGLEY’S pitch at Gang Warily survived the torrential conditions and the Watersiders were delighted it did as they were 6-0 winners at home to Cowes Sports.
Charlie Rattley put the hosts ahead with an assist from Richard Bakary. Bakary was himself then on the scoresheet to make it 2-0. The winger, dual-registered from Winchester City, scored his second in as many minutes to make it three. Frontman Sam Woodward scored a fourth for the hosts shortly before half-time.
