A SUPERB Martin Smith strike and a goal from the returning Darius Osei inspired South Shields to a two-goal victory.
Smith and Osei, who was playing after a loan spell at Ashton United, both scored second half goals to help seal a second successive League win.
Shields dominated the first 45 minutes but struggled to convert their possession into chances.
The hosts carved out a decent opportunity in the 17th minute, but Dylan Mottley-Henry’s 20-yard effort narrowly sailed over.
