Jinadu ensures the Gate is shut

MARGATE’S unbeaten run in all competitions stretched to seven games with a hard fought no score draw with Billericay Town, thanks mainly to some great defending and superb goalkeeping by Dan Jinadu.
The first real chance of the game fell to the visitors when a Bradley Stevenson cross fell to Chris Dickson but he saw his shot brilliantly saved by Jinadu.
A minute later and Jinadu saved from a Stevenson shot. In the 38th minute a ball in from Gate’s Ben Greenhalgh saw Peter Ojemen place his header just over the bar.
