A SCRAMBLE following a penalty ultimately decided this one as Bedford Town put daylight between themselves and the drop zone by hanging tough at Barwell.
The Eagles battled back from behind by half-time with Sam Dreyer and Junior Gyamfi scoring despite Beck-Ray Enoru’s tidy finish handing Barwell an early advantage.
What proved to be the winner arrived in the 45th minute with Canaries keeper Andy Wycherley so close to being the hero, saving Connor Tomlinson’s penalty and rebound before Gyamfi bundled in.
