TWO second-half Billericay Town goals secured victory to narrow the gap with the play-off places.
Billericay nearly got an early lead as Javaun Splatt, following a brilliant piece of skill, saw his volley fly over the crossbar.
John Ufuah was a bright spark from the very start and his shot rattled a post after 22 minutes. Moments later, the visitors had a chance to open the scoring when a cross from Nick Dembele on the left went across the box, but they were unable to convert.
