WILLIAMS PENS NEW NOTTS DEAL

LUKE WILLIAMS has fended off Football League suitors by signing a four-and-a-half year contract extension with Notts County.
The Magpies chief has been linked with the manager’s job at Portsmouth but has committed his future to the Meadow Park club after taking them to the top of the National League table.
Williams’ free-flowing, attacking style of play has yielded 69 goals in 27matches, including an average of three goals a game away from home.
