SID Kerr smashed in a late equaliser to deny Basford victory.
It was a cruel blow for the visitors who had twice led, but failed to see off a determined Barwell outfit.
It is now five games without a win for Barwell who are languishing in 17th place.
The early exchanges in the freezing temperatures saw opportunities at both ends with Brady Hickey’s header lacking the power to trouble Kieran Preston in the Basford goal.
