Three off but Gulls hold off brave Bay

CANVEY Island secured a dramatic victory over Herne Bay in a crazy game which saw three players sent off.
The Gulls opened the scoring on 11 minutes when Bradley Sach received the ball from Conor Hubble on the left hand side of the area and guided a low shot past Jordan Perrin.
On 27 minutes, Hubble doubled Canvey’s lead from the penalty spot after Sach was brought down by Perrin.
Bay reduced the arrears with Rory Smith volleying home a left wing cross on 36 minutes.
