A serious injury to Herne Bay’s Kymani Thomas led to an early abandonment.
The young winger went down in obvious pain following a strong 14th minute challenge from Horsham’s Che Krabbendam.
It was clear immediately that the injury was a serious one and medical staff from both sides rushed onto the field to treat the stricken player.
Play was stopped for 16 minutes with Thomas being gently placed upon a stretcher and an ambulance called, before the match official led the players down the tunnel.
