A BEN Pope penalty and a close-range strike from Knory Scott was enough for Hastings to grab all three points against a struggling Corinthian Casuals side.
It was a victory that keeps Hastings knocking on the door of the play-offs.
After the closely fought opening stages, Hastings created an early chance with Ollie Black seeing his header tipped over the bar by keeper Callum Coulter.
Hastings were then given opportunities to take the lead after David Smith was wrestled to the ground by Simba Kudyiwa to win his side a penalty.
