Bay get boost in bid for survival

HERNE BAY banked a vital three points in their bid to beat the drop and leapt above their hosts in the process.
Kevin Watson’s side won when all around them lost to cut the gap to saftey down to four points.
It was their first visit to North Road and it proved a happy one as they got off to a dream opening.
The R’s found themselves behind within 3 minutes with a nightmare start as a mix up at the back resulting in Zack Littlejohn’s header back to Charlie Turner went over his head and into the net.
