■WALSALL WOOD returned to winning ways, easing to a 5-2 victory over AFC Wulfrunians to open up a seven-point lead at the top of the table. Harry Harris’ side had stuttered of late with just two wins since the turn of the year but early goals from Joey Butlin and debutant Ryan Nesbitt eased them into their stride. Aaron Bishop reduced the arrears at the start of the second half only for Jai Verma to net a third for Wood with a cool strike from the edge of the area.
