■LEAGUE leaders Saltash were held to a 1-1 draw at Shepton Mallet who grabbed a point with a header from captain Matt Wood.
Harrison Davis had fired the visitors in front on the half hour mark but Davis was to be one of three Saltash players to limp off injured alongside Jordan Duffy and Callum Watson.
Bridgwater, who have three games in hand on their title rivals, took advantage of Saltash’s dropped points to close the gap following a 2-1 win against Torpoint with a Jack Taylor penalty and an own goal securing victory.
