WINGATE & Finchley took a huge step towards securing their Premier League status with a crucial victory over Bognor Regis Town.
A slow start saw neither side able to create a clear-cut chance – Bognor dominated possession but Wingate were resolute in defence. The Rocks took the lead on 38 minutes through Nathan Odokonyero’s 22nd league goal of the season, a tap-in from two yards.
