■ THATCHAM Town went away disappointed from their fixture at Bedfont Recreation Ground, as the Kingfi shers are the current form guide team in the league. However, neither side did anywhere near enough to win the game.
One of the few shots on target in the entire game led to Sports’ talented Greek goalkeeper Dimi Kyriatzis making a spectacular fl ying save from a Thatcham striker.
It was the two defences that came out on top in the 90 minutes. Sports will realise that they need more creativity to get out of the relegation battle.
