Barrington gives Bay a big boost

HERNE BAY improved their late season efforts to avoid relegation as a 13-minute Marcel Barrington brace helped them earn a 3-1 win away at a disappointing Carshalton Athletic. The only time either goalkeeper was troubled in a quiet first-half was when Barrington freed Jerson Dos Santos with a neat turn and pass, but Robins’ stopper Danny Bracken made a smart leg save.
