LEWES narrowly missed out on a place in the play-offs to Cray Wanderers on goal difference after a 3-1 win over Canvey Island at Park Lane.
Despite an impressive win over their hosts who had already sealed a play-off spot, Lewes missed out on a top five place by two goals.
The Rooks took the lead on 24 minutes thanks to a fine strike by Razzaq Coleman De-Graft. The tricky winger picked the ball up on the edge of the penalty area before dribbling past a couple of defenders and firing past Bobby Mason into the corner of the net.
