AVELEY warmed up for their play-off semi-final by putting the final nail in Enfield’s hugely disappointing run-in.
In the top five for all but a few weeks of the season, three points from the last 18 told its own story about Town’s collapse as they ended up in ninth place. Not so the Millers, who controlled much of the play to finish fourth and round off an impressive campaign that could get even better with back-toback promotions.
