Mazzone show as Hornets dazzle

HORSHAM ended their best-ever league season in style, crushing relegated Brightlingsea Regent in a superb display that delighted a season’s best 1,457 attendance.
Needing to better Enfield and Lewes’ results elsewhere to finish above their previous highest place of 8th, the Hornets opened the scoring after 15 minutes when Jack Mazzone pounced on a mistake by Jake Thompson to notch his 23rd goal of the campaign.
It was 2-0 five minutes later, Mazzone laying the ball off to Charlie Hester-Cook for a cool finish.
