STOCKTON TOWN and Stocksbridge Park Steels couldn’t be separated in normal time or extra time in the Northern Premier League East Division playoff semi-final, leading to a 4-3 penalty shootout victory for Stockton.
The hosts got off to the best start possible when Dale Mulligan found the back of the net within the first ten minutes, before Cameron Painter doubled the lead in the 26th minute to put Stockton in a commanding position.
