NORTH’S HEADING IN RIGHT DIRECTION

EXPERIENCED keeper Jonathan North insists Aveley’s play-off success has been built without the need of a headline maker.
The 32-year-old starred in Tuesday night’s play-off final victory at Hornchurch which earned the Millers a first-ever progression to Non-League’s second tier.
And North, who turned out for Wealdstone, Hendon and Slough Town before joining the Millers in October 2022, hailed the defensive strength which contributed to 11 clean sheets from their Isthmian Premier campaign.
