SHAUN Jeffers’ extra-time strike earned St Albans City a semi-final with Dartford – and continued Chelmsford’s dismal play-off record.
Top scorer Jeffers struck in the fifth minute of added time to settle a tense play-off affair in from of over 2,500 at the Melbourne.
Neither side threatened the opposition goal in the first half and it was only when Chelmsford lost both rightbacks Cameron James and Jazzi Barnum-Bobb that St Albans smelt blood.
