In the latest in our series we pick the brains of Conference-winning full-back and former North Leigh manager Eddie Odhiambo.
Having come through the ranks at Southampton, Odhiambo joined Oxford United following their relegation into Non-League and after two seasons switched to Stevenage where he won the FA Trophy and Conference title.
Injuries beset his time there and he went on to feature for Newport County and Gateshead before linking up with his greatest gaffer Jon Brady at Brackley Town – the man who has just overseen Northampton Town’s elevation to League One.
