WHEN Laurie Walker joined MK Dons as a schoolboy, he couldn’t have dreamt he’d be forced to wait 15 years for his debut.
Released as a teenager, the goalkeeper spent his entire career in Non-League before being plucked from Hemel Hempstead by his boyhood club at the age of 31.
Little wonder, then, that Walker names his long-awaited bow for the Dons as his greatest achievement in the game.
