NO-SHOW SPIREITES TO PAY UP

CHESTERFIELD have vowed to reimburse Maltby Main’s expenses after pulling out of Tuesday’s pre-season game at the Northern Counties East Premier outfit’s Muglet Lane ground just an hour before kick-off.
While the National League side had a friendly game against Sheffield Wednesday the same night, they had said that they would also send a young side to play Maltby.
A statement from Maltby Main said: “They were prompt in a reply to us regarding our costs and they are to honour the reimbursement we requested.”
