ADE AZEEZ’S first-half header ensured Billericay Town started their season with a win over Kingstonian, despite it not being plain sailing.
The Blues came close on the 11-minute mark when Brooklyn Kabongolo headed just wide from Matt Johnson’s cross.
Soon after that, Frankie Merrifield’s lofted cross fell to Azeez but his effort was blocked by Hakeem Adelakun.
