CARLTON Town made a perfect start to the season as they fought back from behind to claim all three points with a last-gasp winner.
The hosts broke the deadlock after 24 minutes when Callum Nicell pounced on a parry from the goalkeeper to see Ponte ahead.
They should have added a second when the linesman’s flag ruled out what appeared to be a perfectly good goal to the bewilderment of the West Yorkshire side.
