NEW boys Walsall Wood had keeper Kieran Boucher to thank for keeping the score down against last season’s beaten play-off finalists Spalding.
The Tulips led after 15 minutes when striker Dan Sweeney, a summer signing from Macclesfield, was nudged over in the box by Corey Currithers and got up to roll home the penalty.
