■ A LEVELLER deep in injury time salvaged a point for Lowestoft against hosts Basildon.
The sides could not be separated in an even first half. Basildon started the stronger of the teams, but failed to find a way through.
Lowestoft grew into the game and almost took the lead in the 30th minute, but a superb strike was kept out by the Basildon keeper.
After 61 minutes, Basildon’s Samir Ali lobbed the keeper but the ball landed just wide. In the 71st minute, Gage hit the bar for the Bees, who took the lead in the 85th minute through Clyde...
