■ KINGS LANGLEY were denied an opening day win under new boss Jordan Parkes at the death.
Rene Howe was floored in the box and got up to convert from the spot after five minutes and Cheyce Grant almost doubled the lead with a shot on the turn, well held by Stuart Nelson.
But the Centurions fought back to create a couple of chances, while Kings were thwarted by some alert goalkeeping from Nelson.
