■STOTFOLD edged past Aylesbury in a seven-goal thriller.
The hosts started as they meant to go on, finding the lead through Charlie Briggs in the eighth minute, before seeing that lead doubled through Kade Bagge.
David Pearce halved the deficit from the spot just 10 minutes before the break., before Haroon Marai made it 3-1 before the break.
Tyriq Hunte’s header three minutes into the second-half changed the tempo, though, and Aylesbury soon equalised courtesy of Jack Wood.
