Boss Barnes haunts Hamlet

PAUL Barnes celebrated a happy return to Champion Hill after Hastings United recorded a first victory of the campaign.
The Us boss left the dugout at Dulwich in March and another familiar face to Hamlet fans, midfielder Dom Vose, scored the game’s deciding goal.
He struck a free-kick over the wall and inside goalkeeper Jack Ruddy’s near post on 78 minutes to settle the outcome.
The winning margin might have been wider only for Ruddy to keep out Vose’s penalty in added time after Cem Tumyaka had erred.
