GOALS two minutes from both the start and the end saw Kingstonian open their account for the season against last year’s play-off semi-finalists Canvey Island at Imperial Fields.
Eddie Dsane netted early for Ks and after Canvey Island sub Charlie Edwards levelled matters with a 73rd-minute bullet header, the home side’s sub Darnell Goather-Braithwaite converted the move of the match to seal victory.
Dsane cut in from the left and his precise right-foot near-post finish beat unsighted Gulls keeper Sam Jackson.
