AN ENTERTAINING game saw Aycliffe claim their first three points of the season.
The home side were the first to break the deadlock in the 11th minute when Liam Adamson met a cross to round Grimsby keeper Liam Higton.
The lead didn’t last long as Jack Barlow struck from distance hitting the top corner.
In the second half, it remained a similar end-to-end contest but Liam Adamson whipped in a high cross that found the right foot of Kyle Davis, to fire a cool, low shot that had the Grimsby keeper well beaten.
