SUBSTITUTE John McGrath scored an 89th-minute winner for the visitors. Ahmed Ali had a halfchance saved by Hakan Burton in the Clitheroe goal.
Byron Harrison forced a better save from Burton, then Steven Hewitt fired wide.
Clitheroe’s best chance in the first half came from an attack down the right, Veron Parry and Jacob Hansen combining and Hansen shooting narrowly over.
