SPORTING Khalsa claimed victory in the first meeting between these two sides since a nine-goal thriller in the FA Cup four years ago.
After a scrappy opening to the game, Khalsa took the lead through a excellent finish from Sanderson Ellis, who shot with power into the bottom right corner.
Khlasa nearly doubled their lead with a Tounami Sidibe chance that was saved at his near by Matt Hill in the Rugby goal.
