HARTLEY Wintney gained their first ever points in the Isthmian League with a comfortable win.
The visitors almost went ahead when Eli Williams crashed a shot off the bar.
Hartley then took a firm grip but had to wait until the 42nd minute to open the scoring as Nathanael Boakye converted a cross by Ashley Akpen. Jayden Smith was fouled and converted the spot-kick but the Met pulled a goal back through Kareem Akinnibi.
