HARVEY Sayer struck twice as Lowestoft claimed victory.
In the early stages Lowestoft were restricted to efforts from distance with both Sayer and Owen Murphy going close.
The earlier sunshine had turned to torrential rain as Lowestoft moved ahead on the half-hour. Sayer cut in from the right and was felled by Guy Norton just outside the area and got up to drive home the free -fick.
