MELKSHAM kept their unbeaten run to the season with a hard-fought home win.
An evenly contested first half saw both Joel Manning and Snowdon Bird make some key saves to keep the score level at half-time.
The new half bought a new impetus.
Sam Hendy’s crossed into the six-yard box for the lively Ben Brooks to calmly head home and give Melksham the lead.
Exmouth threatened with Ben Steer nearly hitting back on the left, but Manning again saved superbly.
