BOTH sides went into the game looking for their first league win of the season and it was Frome, always offering the greater attacking threat, who secured the points.
The visitors started the brighter and, after Zak Drew had tested Aaron Sainsbury in the home goal, Kane Simpson moved into the box only to shoot wide with the goal at his mercy.
Frome got in front on the stroke of half-time. The hard-working Simpson provided the assist and Jonathan Davies added the finish from close range.
