TITLE favourites Bedford Town were made to work hard for three points against a spirited Hadley side.
Both sides struggled initially in the stormy conditions, but Bedford then capitalised on a poor Hadley clearance to recycle the ball into the box where Shane Bush headed home from five yards. Hadley squandered two opportunities, but Bedford deserved their lead.
In the second half Hadley took the game to their foes and Bedford keeper McDonald had to be at his best to repel two good efforts from Zac Uribarri. Stones and Lemba had further chances to equali...
