TITLE favourites Bedford Town were made to work hard for three points against a spirited Hadley side.
Both sides struggled initially in the stormy conditions, but Bedford then capitalised on a poor Hadley clearance to recycle the ball into the box where Shane Bush headed home from five yards. Hadley squandered two opportunities, but Bedford deserved their lead.
