THIS match didn’t rise to the same heights as the 2002 play-off final between these two sides.
North Leigh were big and purposeful and, when required, they moved the ball around well.
By contrast, Ware looked lightweight, and while their attacks got them close to goal, there was little danger in them, with James Foster only called on once to save.
At the other end, a penalty scored by Karnell Chambers gave the visitors an edge, before Lynton Goss doubled the lead, with most spectators thinking the build-up was offside.
