LOUGHBOROUGH Dywere in impres-sive form as they brushed aside ten-man Rushden & Diamonds.
Diamonds could have been ahead in the first minute, but Lewis King pulled off an incredible save. It wasn’t their day as they hit a post and had two cleared off the line.
Loughborough were helped by two fantastic first-half strikes. The first came from 40 yards out as Tom Marshall caught out the keeper and his strike found the bottom corner.
