TAUNTON made it five league wins from six at Wordsworth Drive with victory, although the final scoreline conveys a closer game than in reality with Borough’s consolation goal coming deep into stoppage time.
The Peacocks came close to taking the lead when Ross Stearn’s effort was initially stopped by Ben Dudzinski, then slipped from his grasp but the Eastbourne keeper managed to claw away before it crossed the line.
