GLEE FOR ROVERS

FORMER Cambridge United, Notts County and Luton Town right-back Dan Gleeson has been appointed as the new manager of United Counties Premier South side Godmanchester Rovers.
Gleeson, 38, who made more than 150 appearances in three spells at Cambridge United, was player-manager at Cambridge City and also turned out for Lowestoft Town, St Neots Town, Haverhill Borough and Histon. He had been assistant to Dean Greygoose who parted company with Rovers last month.
He has appointed Gaz Marheineke, who was assistant manager at Rovers four years ago, as his number two.
