NEW boss Dougie Woodhouse-Roe earned a hard-fought point in his first game in charge of winless Chesterfield as they were held by Guiseley in an even affair at The Clowne.
Woodhouse-Roe’s side produced a spirited second-half performance with substitute Kian Holloway equalising a first-half opener from the Lions.
The point will be seen as a positive for the new Spireites boss after picking up just one point from their opening four matches.
Guiseley capitalised on a dominant first half with a neatly worked goal on the counter attack.
